Switchboards: Expert GATEWAY currently has internal protocols for AT&T, TelTag, IT&T iSDX, BT SX50, Kinsmann, Mitel Sx20, Mitel SX200, Regent & Monarch, Securicor I3000, Student Line, TMS, Eurogenics, Alcatel, Ericsson switchboards - extra protocols such as Samsung, Bosch easily added. New FREE destination billing feature permits “call charging algorithms”. GATEWAY takes a standard call from the switch and provides the flexibility to charge differently for International to National destinations, to set up zones in a day for “peak” charging such as 08:00 to 12:00 noon, to track “discount” lines (and offer to guests).
Keys : For key systems, the interface has protocols available for Vingcard, NT Security and Entec locking systems.
TVs : Gateway links to in-room TV services (Thorn, Granada,Envision). New link soon to eTV. Permits automatic posting for ‘pay-by-view’ as well as TV checkout facilities and welcome messages in guest’s own language.

In simple language the Central office runs a program locally whilst another is run simultaneously on a PC in the remote hotel. The new or amended reservation enquiry is transferred immediately to the Central Office.
The main functionality is contained within only one screen, simple and efficient to use.
Reservations – immediate group summary availability (see below) with specific individual hotel availability in seconds; rates displayed in multi-currency; click on availability and capture reservation. Confirmation facility using Word via automated fax, print out & email. Enquiries too!
